Liquid Story Binder

Well, I've worked diligently and recovered most of what I've lost in the theft of my previous computer. I'm now on a roll again, and have nearly forgotten about the whole burglary ordeal in order to focus on the task at hand. Flipping through my piles of notes and collections of plot points scribbled over the years in in numerous notebooks has been a tedious process. I've been scanning lately for a software package that help me group all of my years of notes and character sketches into a more manageable and convenient form. After reviewing several options (and evying Mac users for their StoryMill) I think I have found a perfect match. Liquid Story Binder, by Black Obelisk software. I really like the visual connections of timelines and plot points, with the ability to amass all of my character data in one place and refer to it easily. I'm going to give it a try tonight and see how it fits. I believe there will be a learning curve, as there is with any new software, but I hope it pays off in time savings and clearness of structure once I populate it with my notes. I'll blog about my experiences and give a better report once the test-drive has run its course.
